Following a handful of impressive cassettes and an EP, Bloomington Indiana band Hoops have finally released their full-length debut album. Routines is nowhere near as rote as its title might suggest. The record blends guitars and synths in a relaxed, but never boring way. Their chill, lo-fi vibes remind us a lot of Beach House and Real Estate and that's always a good thing.
The band were awesome enough to stop by our studio where they performed two tracks. "On Letting Go" and "Underwater Theme" make for perfect summer listening. Check out the videos below to hear their dreamy awesomeness.
