The big question being asked in Audioriver's 2015 after-movie below is surely one to ponder. A genre name not quite befitting of forward-thinking music in 2016 but one that we appear to be stuck with anyway, it's certainly a quick-win way to describe Audioriver Festival. But it's the answer to the question that appears to be the motive behind the lineups that this amazing festival brings us.

Not content on resting on its laurels, the team behind this Polish institution are constantly looking to push themselves and the minds of the audience they attract. Familiar names amongst dance music such as Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath and Leftfield provide ravers with the safe-bets, but it's elsewhere where it gets interesting. Trip-hop trailblazer DJ Shadow is back with new music and a new live show, Four Tet continues to showcase why he's at the forefront of innovative dance music and the phenomenon that is Crystal Castles return to complete a lineup of true grandeur.

The 3 day festival takes place in Plock, Poland from 29th - 31st July.
