Lea (Liliya) Ivanova (13 August 1923-28 May 1986) was a famous Bulgarian shlager and jazz singer. She was born in Dupnitza, Bulgaria but grew up in Tzarigrad (the Slavic name for Istanbul), where she studied at the Robert College and sang in the children choir of the Bulgarian Exachate. In the early 40s her family moved back to Sofia and Lea thought of studying at the National Academy for Visual Arts.
