In an exclusive concert for BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music, Elbow teamed up with the BBC Concert Orchestra to perform the whole of their 2008 Mercury Award-winning album, The Seldom Seen Kid, at Studio One of the famous Abbey Road Studios on Saturday 17th January 2008. Rehearsals tooks place over two days. The five members of Elbow, along with conductor Mike Dixon, originally met on the afternoon of Friday 16th January 2008 in Studio One, where they spent 8 hours of rehearsal.
