I love both Karn Evil 9 and Tarkus. However, the fact that tarkus doesn't have a long piano section in the middle makes Tarkus better for me by just a little bit. Tarkus was also my first experience of ELP. This song still kicks ass, though and is a Prog Masterpeice!
