"I’ve Got A Dark Alley…” is arguably the most musically laid back song that Fall Out Boy has ever made. Although it’s a favorite for some fans, it is one of the band’s least popular songs. Patrick Stump has indicated via Twitter that this is one of the songs that he would have removed in favor of putting “The Music or The Misery” on the record. Pete Wentz has stated that this song is so personal they will probably never play it live. In an article by The Independent, Pete has said the song is about “looking in the mirror and not feeling safe in your own skin”.
