Giles Corey is American musician Dan Barrett (born 16 March 1980 in Glastonbury, Connecticut) of Black Wing, Have a Nice Life and Nahvalr. Barrett began the Giles Corey project as a collection of acoustic songs. Then, he nearly killed himself. Instead of following through with that, he started the project: a search through any, and every, piece of written word that he could find to determine if life were worth living.
