This album is a set of two concertos for guitar and orchestra by Kerry Engle. The first is "Concerto of The Archangels" and the second is "Distant Journey".

The first "Concerto of The Archangels" represents the various actions of the Three Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.
The first movement "Michael" tells the musical story of the creation of the angels and the ensuing battle between The Archangel, Michael and the good angels with Satan and the evil angels. We finally hear Satan and his followers cast down from heaven and peace resumes.
The second movement " Gabriel" we here the Archangel Gabriel traveling through time and space heralding special events in the history of earth.
The third Movement "Raphael", we hear the Archangel Raphael and his journey with Tobias. This includes an attack by a fish, and exorcism, and a wedding.

The second "Distant Journey" represents a musical journey through time and space.

The first movement "Fashing in Den Bergen" represents a carnival in the mountains of Bavaria.
Movement Two Pae'aina" (The Hawaiian word for islands) represents a tour through the ancient Hawaiian Islands, before the arrival of Captain Cook
Movement Three "The Magi" represents the mystical Magi, who were ancient Persian, Priest and astronomers. This movement is significant in the fact that it ask the guitarist to utilize quarter tones.
