Born in 1987, Maarten Hercules grew up listening to a variety of genres across the musical spectrum ranging anywhere from 90s pop music to Jazz. However, he discovered a true passion for trance music and started to produce in 2002 and shortly thereafter acquired a Yamaha Motif synthesizer.
