The Stormsville Shakers from Guildford, United Kingdom, were a popular live act in mod hangouts such as The King Mojo in Sheffield and The Flamingo in London with a sound similar to Zoot Money's Big Roll Band or Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers. None of the three singles they issued on Parlophone in 1966 hit it big and the following year they transformed into Circus, whom mixed soul with pop and psychedelia. Their three singles on Parlophone were credited to Phillip Goodhand-Tait & The Stormsville Shakers.
