After setting attendance records across the country this past summer, CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Jason Aldean announced that he is extending his MY KINDA PARTY tour into 2012. Fellow Georgia native and Capitol Nashville recording artist Luke Bryan will join Aldean in 2012 as special guest.
Aldean was tied for the most nominations with five nods at the 45th Annual Country Music Association Awards, including his first ever in the categories of Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Aldean took home the awards for Album of the Year, for "My Kinda Party," and Musical Event of the Year for his duet with Kelly Clarkson, "Don't You Wanna Stay." His current Top 20 single “Tattoos On This Town” is the fourth release off his DOUBLE PLATINUM album My Kinda Party and follows three consecutive PLATINUM certified and No. one hits for the disc. Aldean currently claims the top selling country album of the year.
Capitol Records Nashville artist Luke Bryan released his newest CD, tailgates & tanlines, earlier this summer debuting at No. one on the Billboard Country Albums chart and clinching the No. two spot on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The album’s first single, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” has sold over one million copies and became the fastest rising single of his career. Bryan’s tailgates & tanlines album is the follow up to his GOLD-certified album Doin’ My Thing, which produced three back-to-back No. one singles - “Do I,” “Rain is a Good Thing” and “Someone Else Calling You Baby.”
