so on my drive to ny (from maryland), my friend and i are involved in a 6 car accident on the new jersey turnpike. an 18 wheeler couldnt stop in time after a sudden stop, so it plowed through a bunch of cars. my car was totalled and i had to get 5 stitches in my elbow. but even having no car didn't stop us. we took cab to the nj train station to finally get to ny...but we did make it!

i was one of the lucky few who knew about the 103rd st footbridge, which was about a half mile south of the bus madness. my friends and i walked home in 20 min. unfortunately, not even the event staff knew of this footbridge and I think it's absolutely ridiculous and stupid for them not even to know that this alternate route existed. i feel bad for all the people stuck waiting for busses.

This was the most insane concert I've been to. All the artists were amazing (especially Rage and Wu.) VIP tickets were definitely worth it.

amazing as in spectacular and also as in astonishing - all acts were amazing - pharaoh holy shit - also, as i was smashed up against the metal barrier right up front i counted at least 12 people who collapsed in front of me, others pulled out after waking up from collapsing - hundreds of people pleading for water - i heard there were 80,000 people there....nuts..

So many white people in the same place at the same time... it made me sick. The only white dude I did miss was DJ Muggs.
