Whoever pointed to the fella with his lad out, pissing infront of the main stage: We are now enemies.

Prodigy were incredible. Loads of people didn't think so, must have been a good place and I wasn't E'd off my face or drunk. Loved Panic! but they have changed. The guys around me at Rage were shit so I really didn't enjoy their set, plus all the sound problems were ridiculous. God is An Astronaut would have been the most unexpected highlight of the weekend. Bands I saw: God Is An Astronaut Burns (end of the set) Sneaky Sound System Bryn Christopher Ben Folds Aphex Twin Calvin Harris Bowling For Soup The Wombats The Hoosiers Panic! Feeder Hot Chip Prodigy MGMT (crowd near me were bastards + that girl shoulda been shot) Republic of Loose (heard not saw) The Kaiser Chiefs (for five mins before I was dragged to the pogues) The Pogues Rage (Disappointed) Missed a lot. Ting TIngs Subways We Are Scientists Newton Faulkner To name but a few

I kind of appreciated that, as I only know them a little. And besides, the music is so happy that I couldn't resist bouncing around like a tool. That's what I really loved.

Was I the only one who though that The Go! Team were really fucking great? They're part of the reason I gave up 5 minutes into Groove Armada for being boring shite. Go! Team are fucking FUN. Also, the Pogues were something insane, you had to be there. Kind of like an Irish-er version of Seasick Steve (who the crowd also went nuts for, me included). Bands I enjoyed the most? I can't say, I never saw a boring one. Randomers I went to were 'The Metros' (don't ask me why I went to them instead of Aphex Twin...) and 'The Wombats', both of which were catchy and danceable enough to jump around and have fun with. Though I have to give a special mention to Pendulum for making me exhaust myself utterly due to the insane energy that their set gave...well, everyone.

MSTRKRFT and Interpol were both solid on the Friday, BFS were enjoyable, Japanese Popstars put on a good show, British Sea Power were disappointing and I didn't like Pendulum at all, but REM followed by the National on the Saturday night has to be one of the greatest one-twos in boxing history. Sunday started off slow but the Stranglers put on a good set and Alabama 3 were brilliant. Band of Horses were alright, though I'm not a big fan, the Raconteurs were pretty disappointing, even Steady as She Goes didn't go over particularly well, and though I only caught Oh My God at the end of the Kaiser Chiefs set, they knew how to play the crowd. Everyone was raving about RATM on Sunday night, and I was right in the middle of it, and I have to agree that there was stunning atmosphere and all, but as for the band themselves, they did very little to create a spectacle except have a big red star. The Chemicals set was fantastic though, in comparison. 1. The National, 2. REM, 3. Alabama 3.

upmeath, ye em you must have been the only person to find battles boring....and interpol were amazing aswell as always, but the crowd was soooo bad for them, full of people who thought they liked kings of leon, for example during interpol a girl came up to me and said "sorry, is this kings of leon?" i replied "fuck off" and kept singing :D

Mindless Self Indulgence were great! The Stranglers put on a fine show too. Did anyone see that flying tent in the campsite mini-hurricane? I want an explanation about that...

Pendulum. Oh.my.fuck. They blew me away. Battles came in second and the always brilliant Mindless Self Indulgence third <3 This sunburn was so worth it!

Sugababes got the party going. Battles bored me back out of the tent. I had a smoothie in Naas on Sunday morning that was infinitely better than Interpol. Slam was solid. Michael Mayer more of the same. Boys Noize amazing. Pendulum best act of the weekend hands down, absolutely blew us all away. The Zutons I didn't intend on going to see but ended up watching most of their set because we wanted good spots for The Prodigy. The Zutons impressed me. I've seen The Prodigy live twice before and this gig was poor by comparison to their set at Hi:Fi 2 years ago, but much better than their set at Oxegen 2005. MGMT poor to average. Band of Horses unbelievable, everything I expected them to be and more. Kaiser Chiefs were better in 2005. Rage Against the Machine were unbelievable. Top 3: 1. Pendulum 2. Rage Against the Machine 3. Boys Noize Worst 3: 1. Interpol 2. MGMT 3. Battles Roll on 2009.

Aphex was disappointing I thought, after he and Rage were the only acts that really swayed me to go in the first place.. not bad mind, but he should have been spectacular. Rage/Battles/Justice/Sugababes = most enjoyable sets of the weekend in my opinion.
