Biography
Born and raised in Los Angeles, ANDREA CALABRIA is an electronic music producer who has earned his stripes DJing in the club scene in LA and in Europe, opening for Loud Luxury, Vicetone, and Dzeko. Behind the scenes, he's worked with artists producing, mixing, and providing instrumental accompaniment in a variety genres including Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop/Rap, and of course Dance music.
His first single, "Be Right," featuring actor/comedian Ryan Goldsher, was something of an experiment, with Ryan never professionally recording music before, and ANDREA never having released a solo record. The result was a vibrant mix of Pop and House that resembles a Sonny Fodera or modern Diplo record. The single's reception was positive, stroking the curiosity of labels, curators, and fans interested to hear more.
His second single “Lost My Mind,” a chill house cover of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” captivated his audience and gained the support from Steve Cardigan and Putyouon. Music Group, getting the number one placement on Putyouon.’s “Soothing Summer” playlist. The support from curators and engagement from his audience caused a 30,000% increase in ANDREA’s listeners and streams on Spotify.
Capitalizing on recent success, ANDREA’s next single, entitled “Used To Be” is another original collaboration with Ryan Goldsher. A guitar driven deep house groove accompanied by nostalgic lyrics makes for a for a bittersweet taste to bring in the end of summer.
