I can't believe I never heard her before first listening to her in November. This lady is the best singer around since the 60,70 ,80,90 2000 including all the famous groups. She is so underrated I can't even believe it. Some one in the music industry is missing out on a fortune by not promoting her music. I just got her cd @#?>&*! SMILERS what a great CD........

Plus I didn't get most of the lyrics back then, at 13 - I just thought she sounded great. I studied every line and through the course of the years I must've given a thousand different meanings to each of the songs. Now at almost 25 I can say, great schooling on love, heartbreak and the like.

After seeing the video to That's Just What You Are in '96, I immediately needed this album - but I live in Brazil and it was impossible to find it back then. Then my dad went on a trip to the US and I asked him to bring it to me. It was love at first listen. After Magnolia her albums became easier to find and all the cool indie kids here love her now, which is cool, I'm not jealous or anything.

This was my first Aimee album. It is my favorite album of hers and one of my favorite albums of all time. I love her soooo much. She is one of the most talented, amazing, and sadly, underrated and overlooked artists out there.

When I was 15, this was the most amazing album I had ever heard. Even now, just listening to the opening chords of Long Shot shoots me back to late, hot summer nights sitting up in my bedroom. Aimmee Mann is a goddess.
