A fan-made unofficial album compilation of 15 leaked songs that were arranged and named in 2018. One of the tracks, Treehouse, was released officially by Alex G due to popular demand as it blew up heavily on TikTok in 2020. The tracks included were recorded between 2010 and 2016, with multiple being either unfinished or interludes. In March of 2023, the album was unofficially released by a non-profit Alex G fan page named "alex g online" on streaming platforms after multiple songs from the compilation went viral on TikTok. However, on June 17th, 2023, the songs slowly started getting taken down after receiving hundreds of thousands or even millions of streams. The final message left behind was "It was a good run, local files on top".
Since Treehouse's official release sometime in 2022, 11 years after it was recorded, none of the songs have come out on streaming platforms. According to a post on Reddit in early 2023, Alex G also rarely acknowledges his unreleased music, as he is rarely seen playing it live. However, some songs may come to streaming platforms at a later date if they get enough hype like Treehouse did. This theory is up to speculation and has not been confirmed or acknowledged by anyone involved with Alex G.
