(2) Azam Ali - The result is fascinating: return to the roots on the one hand, and contemporary musical exploration of other flows on the other. verses into music of mystic poets of past centuries, creating a perfect example of synergy between innovation and classical. - -.-.-.-. om hari om ..... ॐ

Noor (The light in my Eyes) is overwhelmingly beautiful and definitely one of her best songs, I feel transported to another world listening to it.

Yes, Vas and Niyaz, and I recently found out about a collaborative album supervisioned by Yuval Ron, called One (from 2003), which she also partakes in :)

@aliahmadizade She sing in lots of eastern languages (Persian, Kurdish, Indian, Arabic etc.) I myself am not a big fan of Islamic and Arabic regions but there's no doubt that there are lots of beautiful poetry in all of these languages. When it comes to art I don't care about region. Art is a good way for unifying all regions.

@aliahmadizade She has a heavenly voice and I would listen to any language she sings in. And her beauty compliments her voice her as well and she doesn't use photoshop much to edit her "natural beauty" out so don't don't know what you guys are talking about.

I can die while listening to Azam Ali. All of her works: Vas, Niyaz, Roseland, solo albums and all of the collaborations she has had; they are all amazingly enchanting, fascinatingly breathtaking.

Why "Lamentation of Swans: A Journey Towards Silence" still doesn't appear in Last.fm?...I feel that my scrobblings are going anywhere.

Rip-off?? Who is more original - a Persian singer singing Oriental music or couple of Westerners pretending to sound exotic? I love DCD but you must admit that Azam's music is much more original.
