Biography
What would happen if a dominant race of remixing aliens abducted a 90's Seattle grunge band and regurgitated them as pure hip-hop?
Ben Garves is a man who has dedicated the length of his musical career to pushing the genre of hip-hop to another level, much in the way that Jay-Z and Linkin Park did with their 2005 mash-up album. Bringing his own grungy rock twist to dark J. Dilla-esque production, you can often find Ben stretching the genre to mix in a little electronica, nostalgic Seattle grunge or heart-felt singer/songwriter to classically twisted progressive hip-hop drums.
