“Be Someone” is the second track on pop singer-songwriter Benson Boone’s debut studio album, Fireworks & Rollerblades.
This song reads almost as a love letter–showcasing Boone’s aspirations to be with someone and to be there for them whenever they need it. The Apple Music description of the album enlists “Be Someone” as an example of Boone being an “enthusiastic lover” throughout the record, further describing the song as Boone “putting all his cards on the table.”
This track was previewed by Boone on a video that was posted on his TikTok account about a week before the album’s release. Fireworks & Rollerblades will be released on April 5, 2024, marking the official release of “Be Someone” on digital platforms as well as on CD.
