Dj Kira and James Warren come together as Virtual Contact - the epitome of the modern image of EDM in the digital downloads era. Both are consummate djs in their own right and have built up substantial fan bases before joining forces for production and live work in 2007.
Kira has built a increasingly strong following through internet radio with his mixes focusing on a seamless blend of new and classic tunes. He has also gained a strong reputation for obtaining a galaxy of stars to produce guest mixes for his shows including Future Sound Of London, Ulrich Schnauss and many more.
James Warren is a recent addition to the featured artist roster on the ever popular hybridized website where his mixes reach downloads of several thousand. These mixes focus on tunes strong in melody and his programming skills demonstrate a rare talent for the effortless blending of his music. Add to this a wide range of fx, improvisation, and movie samples and the appeal is not hard to fathom.
When they come together, expect an explosion of sound from playing the very best new and old tunes in the progressive genre to make any listener sit up and make notice.
Together Kira and Warren's production skills go from strength to strength. They remixed Trafik's 'Indestructible' earlier this year which went on to feature on Global Underground's 'Afterhours 5' and also have a number of tracks scheduled for release on Polytechnic Recording with remixes from Trafik, Royal Sapien, Chloe Harris, Kilowatts, Shiloh and Benz and MD.
