Discovering the Echo Orbiter and finding out they were from South Jersey came as quite a surprise. While everyone is either moving to Athens, Georgia or being compared to bands from that area, Echo Orbiter have more of that Southern spirit than most NJ acts, playing a Beatle, Pink Floyd, Kinks influenced psychedelic that has all of the sass and catchiness of any Brit-pop act while still keeping that indie slacker ethic.
