@celticshk because that's how the tracks are on the album sleeve. As Guy says here (http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/dec/23/elbow-announce-new-album) - "Elbow's fifth album will be called build a rocket boys! – "lowercase, with an exclamation mark," Garvey said. "Very important, that.""

OK ...I've listened to the whole album 4 or 5 times now and it is most definitely a grower. My fav tracks: Lippy Kids "..i never perfected the simian stroll...do they know those days are golden...", a delicate little song. Understated like the band. Also Dear Friends "....you are the stars I navigate home by...". Turn up the volume / bass at 3:03...possibly the best song ever by Elbow...IMHO.

The reason I love Elbow is that every album is a surprise. I've been a long time fan of elbow and I really like the fact that this album is full of tiny delicate keys, bass and strings lines/melodies that acturally make a huge impact on a song as a whole. The production of this album is fantastic, every instrument and key change is considered. Again shows what an incedible bunch of musicians Elbow are. Guy's voice and lyrics as ever are mature and beautiful.

A much more understated album than TSSK, more akin to their first two. I'm not so sure as many songs from this album would feature in my 'favourite Elbow songs' list as their last, but it's still a great listen, and possibly flows better as a whole. And Guy's lyrics are as brilliantly poetic as usual. :)

Amazing how distinctive these guys are...nothing quite like them. Can always tell one of their songs. Just half way through listening to Build a Rocket Boys! and already love the album. Thinking of seeing them live at O2 later this month...last saw them in 2005 at Reading and they left me with a lump in my throat.

Yet again great album. Not as good as Seldom Seen Kid, but that's too much to ask. This really gets better with every listen:)
