This album is addicting like candy, which is also a good analogy for its sound. It’s heartwarming retro pop rock in just the right ways… and so much more. It feels like an ecstasy roll, with all the ups (“Lust for Life”) and downs (“Hellhole Ratrace”, amusingly followed by “Headache”).

did anyone else see some sort of link between the first three tracks and that of a certain banana clad album ? lust for life, laura, ghost mouth - sunday morning, i'm waiting for the man and femme fatale both work in the same way, not a bad thing though I must add!
