"New Gold" is the second single to Gorillaz' eighth studio album, Cracker Island, and was released on August 31, 2022. The song features Australian music project Tame Impala, and American rapper Bootie Brown, marking the latter's second collaboration with the band since "Dirty Harry" in 2005.
This song was first performed live by Gorillaz with Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) & Bootie Brown at the All Points East Festival in London in August, 2022 before the song was released.
