“Money“ is the thirteenth track off JID’s The Forever Story. Throughout the song, he recounts his childhood dreams of fame, while describing the struggles of growing up poor in Atlanta.

In an Instagram post shortly after the release of the album, JID shares some insight into the recording of “Money”, saying;

This was one of my favorite sessions during the process of making this album. We got a bunch of kids together to work with us in the studio on this record I also gotta give a special shout-out to my dawg Zion Luster(not pictured) who was on the spilligion album as well.. thank you guys
