"I Didn't Know I Was Looking for Love" is a song written by Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn of Everything but the Girl. The song was originally released by them in 1993 as a track on the EP of the same title reaching number 72 in the UK Albums Chart.
The song was covered by English singer Karen Ramirez and released as her second single in 1998 with the shorter title of "Looking for Love". This version is the most well-known, peaking at #8 in the UK Singles Chart in June 1998, and topping the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart in 2001.
