Moderat ’s formation began back in 2002 in Berlin, Germany when Sascha Ring (aka Apparat ) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (aka Modeselektor ) recorded an EP for the record label Bpitch Control (“ Auf Kosten der Gesundheit ”).
