Will they ever reattain the heights of their first few records? Of course not. Will I ever give up on the idea that another great album resides in Isaac's heart, waiting to be found? Of course not.

The tragic indifference of the universe paired with the ceaseless struggle against contradiction and paradox compels you.

Первые четыре релиза отличные, а вот всё остальное тяжело слушать. Не понимаю почему топ по прослушиваниям выглядит так

Ignorance was bliss, yet nearly burst into tears while listening to "Other People's Lives" this month, it felt so overwhelmingly emotional like I had understood something I had no idea about. RIP Jeremiah.

In retrospect, do you think you experienced a profound realization or was it simply a reaction to the tragedy of Jeremiah's passing? Did you actually come to understand something you could convey as wisdom or insight, or was it purely a fleeting, emotional experience that can only be felt, not understood well enough to concretize in words?

I read bad news about his cancer in late December and forgot about it during holidays. A couple of weeks later, a couple of pints after I experienced that very rare affective state when you s u d d e n l y itch to listen to a particular song. For me it was "Other People's Lives". That emotional experience was quite transcendental and very moving, yet it was hard to comprehend why exactly. If you have ever watched Twin Peaks, there was a moment when The Giant entity appeared in front of agent Cooper telling him that "he (Cooper) forgot something". That was it for me.
