Ive slept on this album for 10+ years goddamn this goes hard. Great riffs and insane drums with that perfect grimy and raw production. Maybe their best indeed.

I'm late to the party sorry Bleach is heavy and abrasive as heck and has Blew, Negative Creep, and Paper Cuts on it, my guy

Nirvana's only really good album, I wish all their music could've been as sludgy as the stuff on this album (besides Endless, Nameless, that song is amazing)

Me too. I didn't like Nevermind and In Utero when they came out and 30 years later I still don't really like them. I don't know why I decided to try to listen to Bleach, but I agree that it's a far superior album than Nevermind and In Utero. It's the only I like.

this is a post-hardcore album, whether you like it or not. mr mustache in particular could be a steel pole bath tub song.

I'd say Bleach fits more in the sludge genre than post-hardcore. Bleach completely lacks the high-energy, crooning and breakdowns with a melody of post-hardcore. Bands like Quicksand or Orange 9mm would be great examples of post-hardcore, not this album.

ngl this album has some real bangers that will remain timeless for grunge fans and especially metalheads that bother to revisit this band's material

Definitely not worth the cost. Site has scrobble issues half the time and all the original social aspects have been stripped from this website. Rubbish haha

if last fm were to ever bring back widgets or whatever they were called and gave you the ability to upload pics on your profile than pro might be worth it

Is shame that I was one of the clowns that thought that Nirvana was one the most overrated shitty bands in rock music, but then I hear their discography very well, and change my mind about them, especially this one, is raw as fuck, and has filthy riffs for days, definitely a great band lol

If this was 1989, and I had to guess who'd be the first grunge band to make it big mainstream, based on this album, Nirvana would definitely not be my choice. I would've guessed the Melvins or Mudhoney or Soundgarden, but not these guys. Kurt's songwriting ability progressed by leaps and bounds by the time Nevermind was released, and also Dave Grohl was a much better drummer than the guys on this record.
