On “F33l Lik3 Dyin”, Carti reflects and updates his audience on his current mental health and aspirations. This is the final track on Carti’s sophomore studio album Whole Lotta Red.

The soul-filled instrumental juxtaposes Carti’s depressing and somewhat near nihilistic lyrics. He’s trying to explain that although he comes across as a flamboyant, loud personality, deep down he’s yearning for love like every human, which is also mentioned in previous tracks on the album. This despair may possibly stem from his break-up with his previous lover Iggy Azalea.

The track fits outside of the ‘vamp’ inspired tracklist, presenting itself as its own entity, aimed to wrap up the album on a higher note, whilst providing the listener with an update on Carti’s mental state.

The sample used is "iMi" by Bon Iver.
