I actually discovered this song after first hearing it in GT4. Before that I considered the best of R.E.M. is in Automatic for the People. Guess I was wrong.

I thought it was a strange choice for GTA4 but it's was awesome because this is a song more people SHOULD hear! or something

At least that elicited a response, and even from someone whose throat hurts, I feel doubly good about my efforts. Passion is passion, no matter what the fuck it's about. Maybe it's the fact I've not been able to get on this site for 15 months cause of a bit of a misunderstanding with the law, but whatever it is, I'm sticking to my o' so (I consider) eloquent diatribe about the song.

Luvnrokits is getting a little worked up, but this song is better than Orange Crush. Especially 2:43-2:49, one of my favorite R.E.M. moments ever.

Awww, I am awed in the presence of you geniuses and REM afficienados who are secure enough in themselves to decide what song that THE BAND has written but all of we others just talked about the tunes while swigging down specialty coffees and smoking clove cigarettes. Well, I am sure you accomplished a lot---but Orange Crush would have been better, please?? How perfect was the raw, driven version of the song on GTA4. If the meaning, the force and the message from Turn You Inside Out, escaped you, go back and get some learnin' and play this one again way later.

Wrong song to choose for GTA4, IMO There are much better REM songs they could have chosen... World Leader Pretend perhaps? or Orange Crush (would suit the themes of GTA4 better).
