"America" is a song by English indie rock band Razorlight, and is the fourth track to their self-titled second album, Razorlight. It was written by the members of Razorlight and was also released as the second single from that album in October 2006. It became the band's first #1 single in the United Kingdom. The single was the UK's seventeenth best selling single of the year. The song also peaked at #6 in Ireland, #9 in the Netherlands, #10 in New Zealand, #17 in Austria, #21 in Belgium, #22 in France, #29 in Switzerland, and #38 in Germany.
