Why does no-one ever talk about how good a singer Robyn Hitchcock is? Vibrating, Linctus House - hell, most of 'Eye'. Great high and low register. . Just for that alone, the work draws me in

I agree, the new album is great! It's my favorite Robyn Hitchcock album since 'Jewels for Sophia'. Or maybe even 'Eye'...

I agree, after several listens. At first I wished there were more tracks. No longer - it all fits together very nicely. Definitely up there with the best of his other work.

Great artist! I've known about him for awhile, but I didn't actually start listening to his music until today. Wow! Catchy melodies paired with strange and humorous lyrics. Reminds me a lot of Warren Zevon, whom I think is a fantastic artist. In fact, that's the first thing that popped in my mind: this guy is the British Warren Zevon. Both are very overlooked artists, and grandfathers off alternative rock.

Hitchcock is often called a modern-day Syd Barrett due to his surreal, often non-linear lyrics.
