I like this better than Core...Core is just too generic and Cookie cutter alternative 90's rock. I kinda feel the same way about Alice and Chains debut but maybe I need to listen them a bit more.

I've said it before, but I will say it again: I love this one, definitely my favorite from them

This album is pretty boring compared to their other material...that said, it does have Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart, and that's pretty awesome.

"adhesive" alone is worth the price of admission here, kids... weiland gets smacked out of his mind while the rest of the band dissolves in a pool of acid metal with hits of lounge jazz. think of it as purple's wild afterparty... they never got this weird again.

Brilliant album, gets better and better with more listens. It's a pop masterpiece if you appreciate such things; not the hard rock/"grunge" of their other albums (with the possible exception of Purple). PS. Can someone correct the track name "Big *G*ang Baby" please?

Best album of 96' let alone the best of the late 90's this is a STP classic and is just as good as Purple and Core.
