Since I first heard this music on a dance radio station, I feel that the "capella" version is just part of the whole thing released for remixing purposes. The pauses between singing feel strange. I can see why this track would be good for testing lossy audio compression (as would most voice recordings).

This is one song that I actually do prefer the remix. The a Capella thing just doesn't have the same appeal....

Fall Out Boy brought me here. Such memories regarding this track btw, the "do do do" part I remember from a comic award show's 2007 edition where five dudes dressed as ladies and sang the parody of Weird Al Yankovic's "Polka Your Eyes Out". Should say this in "Polka Your Eyes Out" shoutbox but since it's once again thanks to Fall Out Boy's newest single, I was looking forward to remember this song and here goes.

re the electronic organ type cover : I quite like the bass line but the Hammond type organ is a real disappointment. I wouldn't mind if it was loaded under the performer's name. ~~~~~~~~~~ btw at the moment the track info says 4:33 but the cover is ~2:33 +~0:05silent = ~2:40total.

what b_b says+1 also................ imho 1-It must be handy for staff if a link is given. ~~~~~~2 -put a link to your forum shout on the track page so that people who come afterwards can add a comment e.g. http://www.last.fm/forum/21713/_/2218151 ~~~~~~~~3 -I find it's often worth assuming it won't get fixed, so look for a likely good track in a search -something called 'remastered' is often a good bet -love it & see if it plays in the radio. e.g. there is an'original version' here : http://www.last.fm/search?q=tom's%20diner%20vega&type=track

If there's a wrong track playing, then please *report it* in the forums, nobody of the staff or the mods reads the hundreds of thousands of shoutboxes for the chance that people are complaining about something there.
