We are a metal band from Newcastle, trying our best to breathe life into a stale genre. We are not an image. We are not trend driven. We create music that we want to hear and that we enjoy listening to. All of us are still young, and hope that you can enjoy our music as we mature as both people and musicians.
On November 14th, 2009, the band released their second EP entitled 'HOURS'. Produced, mixed and mastered by Dave Hammer, the EP features 4 new tracks and proves why The Storm Picturesque is quickly becoming one of them most influential young bands in the metal scene.
No doubt this is a result of the bands ferocious touring schedule. Not only playing all the major cities but travelling to far regional areas of Australia, a concept rarely exercised by other Australian acts.
