I used to think the comparisons of this band/album to Radiohead were stupid because everyone says any literally indie-rock band sound like Radiohead, but to be fair on reflection the second half guitar especially is kinda reminiscent of Jigsaw Falling into Place grooves. Great track.

need this album. Picked up the self titled album the other day. Completely different sound. Needs to grow on me.

The way he sings "every night my teeth are falling out" sounds like the vocalist from the Mars Volta. Good song

The view outside of my window perfectly matches this song: a dreary day, a girl walking ominously in a pink dress with a pink umbrella, a limp flag, tons of overgrown shrubbery obscuring most of the view, paralleling the intense longing of the song.

I don't get it. This is easily the weakest on the new album, yet everyone seems to absolutely love it. It's an okay song on a terrific album. I felt the kinda the same way about Two on Hospice, but I thought that was somewhere in the middle rather than being the weakest track, while everyone seemed to think it was unquestionably the best.
