Skydiggers are a Canadian roots rock band from Toronto, Ontario. Formed in 1987 by singer Andy Maize and guitarist Josh Finlayson, the band soon added Peter Cash, Wayne Stokes and bassist Ron Macey to their lineup. They quickly became a regular house band at Toronto's Spadina Hotel, often playing with Cash's brother, singer/songwriter Andrew Cash.

After 8 releases they teamed up with the The Cash Brothers (former Skydigger Peter Cash and his brother Andrew) in 2006 to release an acoustic album.

The band also launched MapleMusic as a label and a web commerce portal to promote Canadian independent music.

In the summer of 2008, Skydiggers released their newest album, City of Sirens on Latent Recordings. For this release, the Skydiggers lineup is made up of: Andy Maize, Josh Finlayson, Ron Macey, Michael Johnston and Noel Webb.
