There are at least two artists named Vestigial: (1) a dark ambient project from Italy and (2) a melodic death metal / melodic metalcore band from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Vestigial is a dark ambient project from Italy. In the vein of Inade, Land:Fire, Lustmord and Loki Foundation outfits, this mysterious act propels the listener into an insane abyss filled with nightmarish soundscapes and experimental bliss. Tweaked out drones dominate the sound as odd samples float in and out with caustic distorted aural fluctuations full of reverbered vocals and treated noises.
