64-bit usually refers to a style of chiptune or chiptune inspired music that uses the sound of old computer consoles from the 64-bit era of video games. This music will often reflect, or consist of, sounds from technology that is seen as primitive or "outdated" such as the Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, PlayStation and/or homemade synthesizers. This tag also includes things such as Super Mario 64 soundfont remixes.
