Berghain is a Berlin nightclub, named after its location on the border between the districts of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.
The club opened in 2004 and replaced the well known Ostgut which ceased operating in 2003.
Bergain is said to have replaced Tresor and E-Werk as the Berlin (and possibly world) centre of techno. The music is mostly minimal, minimal techno and dubstep.
