fastcore

A style of hardcore punk similar to, if not synonymous with, thrashcore, characterized by it’s sped up nature, often implenting L-beats (also known as fastbeats) and blastbeats. Contemporary fastcore, although distinct from powerviolence, is often tied with the aforementioned genre.
