Can refer to artists or tracks that are parodies of other artists or tracks, or it may also refer to music that emulates the stereotype of popular figures in certain music genres, hyperbolizing several of its idiosyncrasies and eccentricities in musical style, artist surname or band name, album names, lyrics and song names. Sometimes the genre is minimized and made into perturbing pure noise. Satire therefore involves making music that emulates but makes fun of other music, or turns other music into non-music by exaggerating some of its idiosyncracies and elements of musical style and content.
