Terry Reid was one I got from your your recently played. Love that album. His other ones aren't near;y as good. Nick Drake is incredible. Levon Helm is a staple for me now. Mavis is a new discovery. I've been organizing stuff after the what free leech. Still finding my lastfm useful?

Hello AndyNova! I saw that you have a pretty good music taste and thought that you'd maybe like our music as well. We are three girls from the forests of Sweden and we are going to record our very first album in Woodstock this summer! We would love if you checked out this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sc_SKuEZm0o ! Let us know what you think (it's much appreciated) by commenting the video, and also check out our cover of 'Kathy's Song' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44kjqZUC5PU that we got the chance to play live for Paul Simon! Love, VIDAR

I don't really know much tbh, I've heard a few songs in the past. Wasn't my thing, kind of prog-rock then another song was a bit metal sounding. I've heard them compared to floyd so maybe it'll be worth u looking on youtube or something.

Yeah I don't mind the upbeat tracks so much on the first half but the acoustic stuff is drivel. Noel Gallagher highly recommends which is probably why he's so shit.

Macca was splendid. He did a lot of Wings songs, in fact he sang like 40 tunes in total. It was amazing. Seemed like a nice guy, as well.

yeah I can't see it growing on me much either. I wish he'd just get back to making the old style of jonestown.

This may turn into an essay but I'll try to keep it simple! It really depends what era of Waits you want to get into. There is crooner/americana Waits, blues Waits, experimental Waits, weird Waits and many other different forms. My personal favourite is the blues era. My top 10 Waits albums are (haven't properly checked out the new album yet); 1) Small Change 2) Heart-attack & Vine 3) Blue Valentine 4) The Heart of A Saturday Night 5) Closing Time 6) Rain Dogs 7) Real Gone 8) Mule Variations 9) Orphans 10) Alice .... as you can probably tell I love 70s Waits but in all honestly, EVERY Waits album is amazing. Happy listening :)

I only heard it a couple of times and it sounds very mellow, but I liked it. How about you?
