Yep, that how it goes. I often cut the stream to listen to those few albums picked up on repeat and then come back.

I'm really glad I found you in this cold evening. I know one guy who works in a bar and listens shoegaze as well there. Next time I see him, I tell him about you.

You guys need a terrestrial radio presence, seriously. I should be able to listen to you in my car, without having to eat into my phone's data plan and stream you at 5G.

And yes, I do have a DKFM tattoo, but no, you can't see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only. And even then, they would have to demonstrate that they have a Last.fm compatibility ranking within five points of my own.

Thanks! Procrastination seems to have led me to write out the full version. Apologies to all involved...

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand DKFM. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of reverb and tremolo most of the jokes will go over a typical listener’s head. There’s also Krissy Vanderwoude’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Lyubov Soloveva literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike DKFM truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in DJ Heretic’s existential catchphrase “I can't believe I get paid to do this,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Shields’s English epic Loveless.

I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as DKFM’s genius wit unfolds itself through their streaming platforms. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a DKFM tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 Last.fm compatibility points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

Wish we had an answer for that. It’s a LastFM problem, not a you problem, or even an us problem... but no one seems to have a solution. 😕
