Cheers for the follow, what a great library! I'm actually looking for some recommendations, you might be a great person to ask. I'm looking for some moderately dark/gritty blues/acoustic/alt rock stuff. Think artists like Doves & Fink (if you know them), would be interested to hear of some of your favourites from that kind of feel. Good username too :)

Hi, thanks. Your library is also very varied, will definitely check some of the artists out. The band that immediately comes to mind when thinking of Doves is Elbow. A great band with lots of albums, the darkest is probably the debut asleep in the back. I would also say entering heaven alive by Jack White is a great acoustic album. Members of Doves have a side project called Black Rivers which is worth a listen. You also can’t go wrong with the grunge classics like Days of the New or Alice in Chains ep’s Jar of Flies and Sap. Hope that helps!

Greetings! My pet waterbird has come out of retirement, and will be making the rounds shortly among yaz that submitted your #1 most played tracks from 2022. Like me, he is getting old and doesn't move as quickly as he used to. However, like his buddy the desert tortoise, he eventually does get to where he is going. He is now getting ready to take off some time Today, and assures me that unless he passes into eternity before completion of his mission, he will have accomplished the task of dropping the link for the playlist in every participant's inbox some time between Today 1/13, and the end of this weekend...Thank You for your partipation and patience:*_*)

C Duncan's Alluvium is in good company w/ 30 other #1s thus far on the playlist. And i am still waiting to hear from for a few more potential participants. In any event, expect a launch in the next few days, and definitely before the end of the week. Stay tuned...

Jan Johansson! My Dad used to play Jazz på svenska almost every evening at bedtime. Best.

Yeah, I live in Cheshire on the outskirts of Manchester. I don’t go as much as I used to but still catch 4-5 gigs a year there. Jan Johansson was a bit of a random find. Apparently he influenced the Danish artist Agnes Obel, so I thought I’d give it a listen and I really like Jazz Pa Svenska. I like lots of different Scandinavian music.
