Haha nope! Fresh Bread is the recent project from Mr. Sam Gendel. It’s quite something! Best enjoyed in bursts. Check out I Know About You - Ida. It’s been in constant rotation all week ! :)

Cool! Rattlebag subbed the song 'Shinzo No Tobira' for the weekly playlist (theme was 'Songs on albums with great covers'). I really enjoyed the song and decided to listen to the whole album. He also suggested Midori Takada's Through the Looking Glass for the Japanese listening parties. I remember we listened to that album together with Maqatu & co the other day. But you're right, the album is lovely! Recently I found out how lovely Japanese music from the 80s can be. There is a lot of good art/synth pop and ambient. And it has these quirky, playful and ethereal vibes I was looking for. Very very glad

Check out Rameses III if you haven't already, PFT is an offshoot of them. I'd also recommend Rag Lore, which is kind of a mix between lapsteel guitar and ambiance.

fuck, rad. are you going to that interpol show in miami? Not sure what to expect since their recent material has been garbage, but that new single was surprisingly good.

arguably the best slowcore release after this: http://www.last.fm/music/Low/Things+We+Lost+In+the+Fire

His discography is very diverse but Scott III is a good mix of the earlier pop stuff and the weirder, later work (although it gets much, much weirder)

wait, when did anco come on then?! i left around 2, i can't believe how long it went on! i thought it would be all them since it started at 11 but yeah, sadly mistaken... and i know!! i have no clue why there was basically no stage room and just that little corner on the side but eh, whatever.. my friend said last time they came it was the same shit. and aw thanks, you seem cool too!! the big star documentary is awesome but sad, i recommend it if you havent seen it yet!! and of course! right now i'm really into twin peaks (new album came out today!!), ty segall and his associated bands (fuzz, the traditional fools, ty segall band), the Frights are amazing and little known, har mar superstar, sun club, of montreal (all time favs), and the replacements to go along with your big star, bahaha. sorry if you knew any/all of these!! any suggestions for me?

i was mostly confused and not understanding if it was them or the opener but apparently it was them the entire time? odd... and i liked it a lot around 1 but it kinda went downhill after that. it was fun but definitely not what i was expecting.. i thought they would perform a lil somethin'. did you stay the whole time?

That was a nice recommendation, I appreciate it, reminds me of scandinavian indie and acts like Thieves Like Us, Peter Bjorn and John. And definitely, we can bounce back and forth like this, win/win. I'll come back with something once I stumble upon something you might like.

When it comes to people with libraries as structured as yours, I'm quite terrified recommending anything. I mean, do I suggest something that would fit in with the rest? Do I go with something that I think could work as an outlier? Or do I disregard what I've soon and just come up with my favourite track? I'm a huge, huge, HUGE fan of alternative songs with pop structures for added accessiblity. A compromise between all three and I have http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDbV1y5iaE8 so do let me know what you think of it and return the favour perhaps? Sorry if tl;dr but idk music is weird
