Prvi album ce nositi 20 bodova, a 20. jedan bod. Album moze iz bilo kojeg perioda, samo da je od Triglava do Vardara. Pozdrav!

I made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement, and I don’t expect to be forgiven. I’m simply here to apologise. What you came across in lastfm user Mikaccar's shoutbox that day was obviously unplanned. The reactions you saw on display were raw; they were unfiltered. I didn't know how to react or how to feel. I should have never posted the comment. I should have put the closed the tap and walked away from my computer. There's a lot of things I should have done differently but I didn't. And for that, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry. I want to apologise to the internet. I want to apologise to anyone who has seen this comment. I want to apologise to anyone who has been affected or touched by mental illness, or depression, or suicide. But most importantly I want to apologise to lastfm user Mikaccar and their family. For my fans who are defending my actions, please don't. I don’t deserve to be defended.

I think Fripp and the 80's band formation helped reshape whatever was a standard tendency on the ways you produced music during that decade. They achieved something very hard, which was to combine their previous progressive sound to the shapes of what was going on in the moment — and yet not going commercial like happened to most other progressive bands. I noticed you talked about the "Absent Lovers" concert bellow in your shoutbox and there's a performance of theirs that's among my favorites ever, from the same period: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWkyBVjuL80

Fripp was one of the leading voices of music honestly. Punk musicians admired him, he influenced new-wave, math rock, most neo prog bands, helped Bowie and Sylvian, while holding to his "Discipline" philosophy. Love that performance, I don't say this often but Belew really is one with the music there.

This performance really gives the idea of coordination a very particular meaning. It carries many elements of a theatrical act — even when it's not. The musicians, little by little, jump on stage, like in a succession of scenes and frames, while they bring new elements to the song. The whole thing goes so subtly, one can't really pay attention to the exact time Bruford leaves the xylophone to join the drums for the second part of the song. The same happens with Belew, who, moments before, had joined the drummer as they played together the instrument, in such a surprising synchronized way, and then held his guiter to play the solo. Meanwhile, Levin shows up from behind, takes his bass, and gives the song its heartbeart...

Hey, Mikaccar! I'm sorry for the long absence. I was busy, moving from a distant neighborhood to downtown. There was a lot of furniture to carry and move them up through the apartment stairs — jeez; finally, we had to wait long three days for internet connection to be restablished.

A friend of mine introduced me to soulseek not long ago, but it took me a while until I figured out how to connect and use it. It's my main source for downloading music now. Also, I know how RateYourMusic is an excelent guide to searching for music. There's a list for fourth world music that I'm constantly checking there for new music. Nonetheless, progressive electronic is a field I'm yet to explore in deoth, and it seems like a good idea to search for a list on RateYourMusic on this particular theme.

Zamn, at least let me encourage you re: 80s KC with Andy Summers's albums, Tom Tom Club's first, and Bi Kyo Ran, maybe that's more your cup a tea. As for live shows, it's agreed that Ladies of the Road, Marquee 1971, Mainz 1974, The Great Deceiver and Zoom Club have the best audio quality, song wholeness and Fripp ownage. You also have to hear Radical Action if you haven't, "Easy Money" makes the original SHAMEFULLY comedic.

I'll definitely give a listen to the Crimson reccs eventually™. Despite being a lifelong Deadhead I seldomly spend time going down the rabbit hole of live for many artists that I wouldnt consider my all time favorites. Speaking of Summers; the collabs with Fripp are the only solo stuff I've heard from him, what are your thoughts on the rest of his catalog? In regards to Bi Kyo Ran, I'd imagine just start with self-titled?

Yeah, I was referencing the 2 Fripp LPs. I'm not big on live albums either, since most are studio-edited or ego trips with lengthy versions of songs with solo-based jams. I do respect "jam bands" though ( Going around r/progmetal's Discord'll net you some ). Summers's '89-'99 run is amazing if you like jazzy world music ( and introspective ambients although not everywhere ), plus his covers and featured musicians are a historic plus. Bi Kyo Ran started as a KC cover band, bless 'em. Start with 1982's self-titled, if you liked it, 1995's Go-Un, if not, 1983's Parallax. Massive harmonies and Rush/Yes soundbites even.

Love their 80s live stuff, Adrian is a really talented guy going from working with Zappa, to working with Bowie, to working Byrne and eventually working with Fripp. KC was at it's best in the 80s live performances, can't say the same for their studio albums after Discipline like most ppl are, You think KC albums after Discipline deserve a check?

Most certainly. Just skew your mentality so to expect the first half of Beat and TOAPP to be "accessible" and the latter "experimental". Listen to the first 3 LTIA parts to notice how they never ran too far from Red or late 70s Fripp ( The man always had a set array of classical and modern influences ). Maybe you'll also need more experience with new wave sound dynamics, since that's a big part apart from melodies, and falls more into krautrock/avant territory. Try listening to late The Police. Additionally, Belew has his own version of "Heartbeat" which made me like it more. Not a massive Thrak fan, but ConstruKction and Power to Believe show a fuller embrace of prog and math rock, while being a mix of 80s KC, Red and Larks. Belew's vocals kept maturing even then.

ProjeKct Two's "Live Groove" ( Jazzy, brutal prog jams with Adrian on drums ), Three's "Masque" ( Fripp laying down dark ambiental space prog ) and a pseudo-album in "A Scarcity of Miracles" ( Harmonically rich smooth jazz ). The rest I don't like, not many strong "songs", either too heavy or not heavy enough, Adrian screws up the drums, etc.

The two semesters of p chem I suffered through for my degree gave me PTSD. But absolutely very interesting subject matter. My work is almost all instrumental but that's fun. I hope you are too! Thanks for reaching out, we do get some flak now and again but the assholes and idiots are all mask-off now. It makes em easier to avoid
