Oddly enough, in that five months i attended a very "yallternative" music festival in Ohio and basically overnight completely embraced alt-country. I always heard that the punk to alt-country pipeline was real and it's funny that it happened basically the second i turn 30. I'm seeing Nick Shoulders in November.

On a major death metal kick i take it? Nice! I've been deep into hardcore and old school screamo recently. A few local bands from my city have been reviving the skramz sound lately.

I finally got around to listening to it today, and I was pretty impressed. When I first heard the rap single or whatever they released before the album was released, I was nervous. But the rap songs are few and far between, so that was pleasant. Overall, it seemed way more consistent than SILY. p cool.

Song Cycle is a grower if there ever was one. I keep discovering new things every time I listen. There are just so many things happening all the time. It's great.

Hello! You listen to some great bands, some of my favourites. I really like Unquiet Nights, if you don't know them I give a free sampler where you can get their songs from free. I really hope you like my suggestion :) take care Amy (https://essentialcredential.bandcamp.com/album/21st-century-redemption-songs-album-sampler-2)

Excited to see Paul McCartney? Here's hoping he'll get his ball back. Also what do you think of the new Weezer album? I liked it, it reminds me of the Blue Album with some hints of Green and Pinkerton. Definitely an improvement over Hurley and Raditude.

Hey my overall top 20 isn't much better, i get incessantly made fun of for it by a friend of mine who enjoys the musical stylings of Aphex Twin and The Future Sounds of London. And i'm doing well; i dropped out of my old college last year and i'm currently working and hoping to apply to another college in the near future (swt) Unfortunately i'm still in my teenage angsty phase at the age of almost 21 so i've been listening to a lot of pop punk, Wave post-hardcore and midwest emo.

I once saw a streaming of an ARCADE FIRE LIVE SHOW, it was awesome, i don't know of many bands that rock that particular setup of two drummers at once

I've been listening to a lot of hip hop and electronic as of late ;) My favorite rock band that i've heard recently are probably Savages, and i've recently rekindled my enjoyment of Titus Andronicus and the Cloud Nothings. I was on a huge pop punk kick a few months ago, but they're starting to get old now. I still love a lot of "wave" post-hardcore bands like Defeater and Touche Amore.

I've been pretty nice how about you? And have you heard the new Wavves? It's pretty good but less, erm, punk than King Of The Beach.

the first tune is unbelievably cool, the rest of the album outside of like one song with a drum feature is pretty uneventful.

Better than Juturna, not quite as good as Blue Sky Noise. I haven't decided whether it's as good as or better than On Letting Go, but i'd certainly recommend it |-) A bunch of people at my college is obsessed with Circa Survive, so they got me into them haha.

Start with their debut EP His Old Branches and move on to their full length Varuna and EP The Cartographer. as for sound, think Devil and God era Brand New crossed with folk music influence
