No idea, I don't usually scrobble the stuff I play on my phone either. Only Spotify.

Seriously, that track and Littlest League Possible are probably my two faves of the reunion albums. It's mind-boggling that Bob can write tracks like those so effortlessly.

You are right that not many young people listen to this kind of music. But I have been in love in such music since I first heard voice of Billie Holiday:)

Hey there! A l.fm friend from Argentina randomly dropped this in my shoutbox a few years ago & I was immediately hooked. It remains my favorite of theirs... Hope you find some stuff to love! :-)

He is my one true musical love and I want him to follow me around and sing to me. Let Me Go Let Me Go Let Me Go is one of my favorite albums of all time. I will listen to it again now.

Hahah, oh you. It's pretty decent. I previewed it from iTunes and I liked what I heard. Very bluesy, very sit-back and chill. Very, Huge Laurie.

hm, i think awesome it's a bit thick, but i listen this album a couple of times, and i think it's very enjoyable, a little bit melancholic, (but which shoegaze album isn't?) and i really like "blind tomorrow" this melody reminds me one of GBV song, but i don't know which one :-)

great when your heroes are decent folk! My local pub a few years ago was be run by Dave Greenfield from the Stranglers, was always happy to chat about how the band were doing while he was pouring the beer!

I'm liking that Lifeguards album -the only Bob LP i"ve bought so far this year. A bit of a 70s feel to that one.

New Pollard is pretty darn solid. It's got a great flow and is definitely an album, rather than a collection of songs, if that makes sense. Garden Smarm is probably the standout track for me. It's a little more laid back than something like We All Got Out of the Army, but then the album closer hits you in the gut and reminds you Pollard can rock w/ the best of em.

And I learned about them from a fellow 20 year old. Basically, Prefab Sprout is the shit.

I can't say I've found anything like Phil Elvrum since, I wonder how my friend even came across them!
